I forgot what was happening this weekend. So, tonight wasn't going to work out one way or the other. Ah well, it can't always.

Well, I do hope you have a lovely time. It's oddly refreshing to have some idea of where you're going and what you'll be doing (even if it took my brain a couple of days plus spotting a particular vehicle parked in front of your house to remember). Sure… I wish you could be here, spending your time with me. But I know how it goes.

And, sure… nights like tonight are a rarity for me… but they don't happen never. I've got a handful coming up next month. Perhaps the stars will align then?
